The owner, Manolis, was the most gracious, accommodating host. Always available for questions and very generous! Even though this property was a 30 minute drive from Chania, it was well worth the drive! Located on a plantation with olive, orange, lemon and many other trees. We enjoyed our visit! Thank you Manolis, I look forward to our next visit!

Everything was perfect, absolutely gorgeous location with the best views you could ever get!
The host and host family were so generous, left us breakfast for our stay, along with enough homemade cake to last a life time, local made wine, plus other generous offers!
The villa is beautiful and even has an outside shower viewing the mountains! Nothing more could ask for, definitely highly recommend!

Words cannot express our wonderful experience at Augusta Crete Traditional Home. This property is secluded and perched high up on a mountain on a working olive farm. It has been the highlight of our 5 week vacation through Greece so far as it was a romantic adventure with a hint of mystery. He met us with gifts of food, raki, wine, and recommendations for local dining in the nearby village where we had our best meals ever and made several new friends. We can honestly say that Manolis, his family, and village are the most welcoming and warm hearted people we have met on our travels. Simply said…If you are looking for the most genuine, traditional accommodation experience on Crete look no further…you are home at Augusta Crete!

The villa is built with magnificent classic style and good taste and is located on a hilltop with amazing views.
The balconies surrounding the house, offer great views to the green valley hills and have comfortable sitting arrangnents.

The property was away from the maddening crowds but close enough to drive to Chania if you wanted.
Fantastic rural location with an awesome small village nearby that served the best authentic food.
